You do not always need one implant per missing tooth. What you need depends on how many are gone and where they were.
₹25,000 – ₹65,000Includes the crown
A single implant with a crown fixed on top. The most common case and the most straightforward. The neighbouring teeth are left completely alone.

You usually do not need one implant per tooth. Two implants can carry a bridge spanning three or four teeth, which keeps the cost well below one-per-tooth.
Cost efficient
₹2,10,000 – ₹6,00,000Per arch
Four to six implants carrying a full fixed set of teeth for that jaw. The biggest job on this page in every sense — the longest treatment and by far the largest cost.
Full replacement| What you need | Typical range in Bhubaneswar | What moves the price |
|---|---|---|
| Single implant | ₹25,000 – ₹65,000 | Includes the crown. Korean systems sit at ₹25–35k, Swiss at ₹45–65k. |
| Full mouth / All-on-4 | ₹2,10,000 – ₹6,00,000 | Per arch. The number of implants used and the material of the fixed teeth. |
| Crown on its own | ₹3,500 – ₹18,000 | Metal ₹3.5–5k, PFM ₹6–10k, Zirconia ₹10–18k. |
These are the going rates across Bhubaneswar, not a quote. The implant system makes most of the difference — and if the bone has shrunk where the tooth was lost, a graft adds to both the cost and the timeline. Tell us your situation and we will come back with a straight answer.

An implant is a small titanium post placed into the jawbone where a tooth used to be. The bone grows around it over a few months, and once it has settled a crown is fixed on top. That is what makes it different from a bridge or a denture — it is anchored in bone rather than resting on the teeth or gums either side. It does not come out, and it does not need the neighbouring teeth filed down. It is also the reason implants take months rather than weeks.

If you have lost a tooth, you have three realistic options and they are not equal.
A denture — removable, cheapest, and the one most people end up unhappy with long term. It rests on the gum and can move.
A bridge — fixed, but the healthy teeth either side have to be filed down to carry it. You are trading two good teeth to replace one missing one.
An implant — the most expensive up front, and the only one that replaces the root as well as the tooth. It leaves the neighbouring teeth alone.
One thing worth knowing: the jawbone where a tooth was lost starts to shrink over time. The longer you leave it, the more likely a graft becomes.

Three to six months from placement to the final crown, for a straightforward case. Most of that is waiting for the bone to fuse to the implant — it cannot be rushed and nobody should tell you otherwise. If you need a graft first, add a few months. A temporary tooth can usually be fitted in the meantime so you are not left with a gap.

A single implant including the crown typically runs ₹25,000 to ₹65,000. The implant system is what moves the number — Korean systems sit at the lower end, Swiss at the upper. A full arch runs ₹2,10,000 to ₹6,00,000. Those are going rates across the city, not one clinic's price list.
Decades, and often for life, provided you look after them and your gums stay healthy. The crown on top may need replacing sooner than the implant itself.
The placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you should not feel it at the time. Expect soreness and some swelling for a few days afterwards.

For most people, yes — because a bridge means filing down the healthy teeth either side, and an implant does not. A bridge is quicker and cheaper up front, so it comes down to what matters more to you.
Most people can. You need enough jawbone to hold the implant and reasonably healthy gums. Heavy smoking and uncontrolled diabetes both make it harder. If the bone has shrunk, a graft is usually the answer rather than a no.
A full fixed set of teeth for one jaw, carried on four to six implants instead of one per tooth. It is the option when most or all of an arch is gone — ₹2,10,000 to ₹6,00,000 per arch.
